Got my contract today....
for my new job I will be starting soon. I am just wrapping things up at the old center. I brought home my stuff from the old center, and riles and danno are having a ball playing with all the stuff. In fact riles fell asleep tonight playing with the castle. She has also played with the gears, books on CD, and markers (I kinda bought A LOT of markers when Wally world had them for .88.) I mean A LOT. She is seeing stuff she hasn't seen for a long time (most of it I scammed from her :) it must be horrible having a mom who is a teacher. Always trolling your stuff to take to school.

It was a sad day Friday.

We traded in our old van and bought a new one. I was surprised I felt sad. It's a car for pete's sake! lol.. I loved my old van. It was huge, I could fit a lot of stuff in the back (just ask deb and mindy). I felt really bad about leaving her all by her lonesome to be taken (probably) for scrap. She blew a gasket..literally. The head gasket went out, and we didn't want to mess with it. So, I now have an 08 little beauty who has a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty. I need a name. My old van was greta, my little red car was jezzie, my blue car didn't have a name, and my truck was howard. Any suggestions? Here is half a picture. (It was cold this morning, and I was in my jammies).

Hello?? Anyone here??
It looks like i may be traveling back to the big o for employment. I interviewed Friday, and once I apply (actually pay 105.00) for my NE license, I will probably be offered a position in OPS. Yippee! I won't have to teach next summer. I will get paid more, don't have to supervise ( i don't like this part of my current job), I will get time off for Christmas break, spring break, AND will have more resources for behavior kids, classroom supplies, and teaching resources.
I am nervous because the classroom is VERY SMALL, but there are only 14 kids. I don't know how 14 kids fit inside this classroom, but if I get the position A LOT of nonsense stuff (boxes) is coming out.

Only 45 more days until Christmas!
Brammy and I went to Big Lots today to pick up danno and riles BIG pressies.. danno got Guitar Hero 3 for PS2 and Riles got a vsmile (only....its pink...uhoh). I just have a couple more each and their jammies to get them and then I am done. i am seriously sooo downsizing this year.

We stopped at Wendy's in St. Jo on our way to KC last month. Next door was a stamp store..we thought their "mascot" was kind of cool so fickel took some pics of it.

Changes...

glad to see so many americans voted..wonderful to see how many wanted their voices heard. I never really know who to believe in all the games of politics, never really know who will live up to their words. Actions speak louder to me. I saw a picture on kips blog, and I thought to myself "how true that is".

pics of the kiddos dressed up for halloween..

Riles robot costume didn't quite pan out (it hurt her arms), and danny couldn't find all of his armor (he was a spartan soldier). Here they are in their "last minute" costumes. Eventually Danny didn't wear the helmet, and just carried the ax and shield. Riles used danny's old vampire cape. THANKS to aunt dianne who picked up the vampire teeth and dropped them off at 9pm. We went to tabor trick or treating (Riles with dude, danny with logan). Dude and Riles were done by 8ish, and I think logan and danny were the last trick or treaters left, arriving back at brandy's about 9-9:30. We had lots of fun, and got way too much candy.
