Halloween Spooktacular 2008
What do you get when your sisters, sister in law, brother and all spouses send out invitations to your children's elementary school (grades k-9)? Hmm? anyone, anyone? bueller, bueller?
158!
that is how many children show up to a halloween party.. granted (translates to THANK GOD) we divided up the parties this year and held the k-4 party from 3-5 and the 6-9 party from 7-9:30. We had 73 children show up for the 1st party and 83 show up for the second party. Needless to say, we are all tired and geared up for next year.
Here are some pics to share.

Halloween Spooktacular part deux!
WOW! what a fun filled night! The sisters really outdid themselves this year. I didn't have a lot to do with it this year, due to my class schedule on saturdays. I was designated the party photographer, but due to it being dark, a lot of the pics are blurry. That's OK tho. I still got some great shots of the rooms, games, characters, and even bugsmeade juice bar.
The characters:
Mesmeralda, the witch
Red, the Redneck Tooth Fairy
Cindy the bugtender
Dr. Insane the mad scientist
Hayrack the hayrack ride driver
We had 116 (i think) kids this year. That is more than last year! It was an awesome turnout considering several other events going on in town (and this is a very small town). Here are some pics of how the night went.

The Halloween Party...part 1

Our Halloween party was a great success..the kids had a marvelous time! Altogether we had (I think) 85 children show up. Great turnout when you send out 125 invitations.
I have some pics..some are dark..i did lighten a few. The pics I am posting tonight are of my sister Deanne (or Mesmeralda) and the room we had decorated for her. She was a gypsy fortune teller and was THE HIT of the party.
Great job to all my sisters for throwing a WONDERFUL party..can't wait for next year now!

I will post more pics tomorrow.
