River Fun 2009

We went to the river yesterday for the first time in 2009. We had such a good time! I can't wait for the next time now. Here are some pics of the fun.

The Three Amigos...

We went to the river this weekend. Mike's friend Zachariah..who i deliberately call zachary, is home on leave. He is currently stationed in Iraq, so anytime to see him breathing..is a good time. I shot some pics..(they didn't turn out quite so good..but here they are) of Mike, Zach, and Rich. They have been friends for a long time. Since Mike was stationed in Fort Lewis, and I was a senior in high school then! lol..

We went to the river this weekend to celebrate Dude's bday and have a good time. We had a ball of course. I am off this week. I am currently waiting to go pick up the double trouble team (who are riding the bus to aunt tachelles), riles and dude are having a playdate. I even made homemade chocolate chip cookies for them to snack on.

Just your typical summer day...

We went to the river on memorial day weekend. The kiddos always have such a great time. I love to see how dirty they both get. One of their very favorite things to do is dig in the dirt/sand. Chick digs these really huge holes that she can almost stand in, and the others try to follow suit. Then they try to connect the holes so they try to dig tunnels. It is fun to watch. Not much going on in our world. We take mom back to the dr today, hopefully we will have a course of treatment so we aren't in limbo. Glad to hear my nephew Noah is doing good. He had that nasty Rotovirus. Icky. Glad he is home and doing well.

Some great news in our household. Ms. Riles has now figured out how to ride her bike without training wheels! We stopped at a friends house in town the other day cause riles had to go potty. Her granddaughters were riding without training wheels, and riles hopped on a bike and started to go. It was such an amazing sight.

Danny has been asking questions lately. A lot of questions. Questions I can't answer until we know more info about mom. She is truly his best friend. If he doesn't call her to go play, she calls him. He loves her so much. It is good to see they have a good relationship.

LOOK what I can do now...

I bought a set of actions for Photoshop Elements. It helps make my pictures look much better. These are simple steps I could do on my own, IF i understood this chaotic program. I didn't realize how much better my pictures could look if I just new how..

Just because i am twisted, and this was the funniest night at the river...

And also cause mikey got a new job! I am so proud of you mikey..imagine the new possibilities for you in your new role. So..He wanted me to post the pics of him and kenzie plugging in the bug zapper. This night was so funny, cause evidently Kizzie's feet didn't smell too pretty..and mike was gagging. LOL...yeah for kenzie!
